The Vetinarian was gentle to Mr Brownie & my new poodle Prancer.Vet was generous to take Prancer without an appointment. Prancer had an infection caused by chewing at his scratching neuter. Both dogs were placed on ANTIBIOTICS.. Thanks so much for providing excellent care for my babies

Excellent vet! Caring staff! Dr. Weiss has been spectacular in helping my large chocolate lab deal with a variety of medical issues like allergies, cancer and arthritis. I can not thank Geary Veterinary Hospital doctors and staff enough... highly recommended!

Dr. Petersen, Vet Technicians, and Front Office Staff: I wanted to extend my deepest gratitude to all of you for the compassionate care you provided during my beloved Cooper’s final moments. Saying goodbye was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, and your kindness, professionalism, and sensitivity made an incredibly painful experience a little more bearable. Your gentle approach and the dignity with which you treated Cooper meant so much to me. It was clear that you understood not just the medical side of things, but the emotional weight of the moment as well. Because of several moves around Northern California, my two dogs have been to five different vets in 15 years and Geary Veterinary Hospital is hands down the best. Everyone at Geary is polite, caring, professional, and competent. Vet appointments never felt rushed and my questions were always answered. I never felt like I was being upsold on a procedure or product - something I can’t say about some of the other clinics I have gone to. I was always able to get my dogs seen within a reasonable amount of time, often the same day or early the following day. The vets and staff also followed up via calls, texts, or emails to see how my dogs were doing after starting a new treatment or recovering from a procedure. It was obvious that everyone at Geary truly cares for animals and their well-being. The vets are excellent and consult with one another to ensure that my dogs treatments were always consistent and based on the most recent visit, regardless of whether a different vet saw them. Staff go above and beyond to assist with getting a prescription quickly filled, an appointment made if a last minute cancellation occurred, etc. I would highly recommend Geary Veterinary Hospital to those in the Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, and Lafayette area. By far the best veterinary experience my two dogs ever had.

Geary Veterinary has been taking care of my dogs and cats for over 20 years now. They are passionate and compassionate about the animals they care for. Dr Bjork, Dr. Weiss & Dr Hamilton have all gone above and beyond to help take care of our animals. We can't thank them enough and their fabulous staff for all of the loving care.

You can't get better than Geary for vet care in the Bay Area. When I started using their services I lived in Walnut Creek, but now live in Oakland and continue to make the drive. Their high quality of care, amazing staff, excellent communication and gentle handling with the animals is 100% worth it. I have a medically fragile cat and the care that Dr. Weiss has provided her over the past ~2 years not only greatly enhanced her life but my own as well, and she really helped me feel empowered as a first time cat owner. I recently got a Silken Windhound puppy who had a great experience with Dr. Yoshida as well. I have always had very pleasant experiences with Geary's RVTs, vet assistants, and CSRs as well who have always been very willing to deal with my frequent barrages of questions.
